Job Summary

(I)
Under the direction of the Principal Engineer, assists the Engineering Department in the preparation, administration, and maintenance of plans, special projects, and other products. Performs overall project support duties using maps, computer drafting, and word processing and spreadsheet software programs. Performs work for more than one manager, including Engineers, and other staff as directed.

(II)
Under the direction of the Principal Engineer, is responsible for the development, maintenance, implementation, spatial analysis, training, and integration of a District-wide ESRI-based GIS. Assists the Engineering Department in the preparation, administration, and maintenance of plans, permits, special projects, and other products using AutoCAD, GPS, Word, Excel and other programs.
