Job Summary
Under the direction of the Network Telecom Systems Administrator I/II and/or Information Systems Manager, performs a variety of specialized duties in the training and support of users of all District computer systems, including personal computer systems, Finance, Payroll, Utility Billing, Imaging systems, Security systems, telephone and Internet systems and local area networks. Some support is also provided for the Preventive Maintenance, SCADA and GIS systems. The IT systems Specialist II is distinguished from the IT Systems Specialist I by the types of projects assigned and the independence with which work is performed, and by the higher proficiency requirements.
