Equipment Used

Laboratory glassware, autoclaves, dishwasher, deionizer, pH meter, conductivity meter, magnetic stirrer, reagent bottles, cleaning materials, truck, top loader balance, analytical balance, and other general laboratory equipment.

Working Conditions

Exposure to poisons, toxic fumes, noxious odors, hazardous wastes, acids, caustics, carcinogens, oxidizers, and flammables. Safety precautions and procedures are required with all exposures. Exposure to compressed gases and steam pressure vessels. Exposure to pathogenic bacteria, protozoa, and viruses. Potential exposure to broken glassware. Also works in office environment.
