Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant General Manager/Engineer, is responsible for directing the operation and maintenance of the District’s drinking water supply, treatment, distribution and storage facilities, the operations and maintenance of wastewater collection, transmission, and pumping stations, including the Luther Pass Pump Station and the operation and maintenance of the Equipment Repair department. Ensures that all work is performed safely and all facilities are maintained in a safe condition.

Working Conditions
Predominantly indoor office work environment; occasionally work outdoors and in severe weather. Some exposure to video display terminals. May require working in severe weather conditions with exposure to chemicals, odors, and other hazards during emergencies. May occasionally enter confined spaces above and below ground to inspect work.
