South Tahoe PUD would like you to help spread awareness of the importance of fixing water leaks in your home. Water leaks waste our drinking water and can cause your water bill to increase. Help conserve our natural resources and save money on your bill by finding and fixing water leaks.
The average household’s leaks can account for nearly 10,000 gallons of water wasted every year and ten percent of homes have leaks that waste 90 gallons or more per day. Common types of leaks found in the home are worn toilet flappers, dripping faucets, and other leaking valves.

Leak Adjustment Request - If you receive a high-water bill due to a leak, once you make necessary repairs you can apply for an adjustment.
Leak Repair Rebates - Offer up to $500 for having a verified water leak repaired by a licensed contractor, excavator or plumber. W-9 form to be complete with application.
